The same ocean that has caused so much devastation in Japan brought wild waves to the west coast of the US today. The large waves were very attractive to surfers in Santa Cruz. The fire department was called out after a surfer was believed to have been overtaken by the waves. They couldn’t locate anyone in distress.
There were some interesting clouds this evening blocking the view of the sunset.
This dog was waiting for the owner to come back. First attempt at time lapse of a live creature. The train crossing shot was a split second notice, with little setup.
For some reason a few street shots I took today got lost (it happened, no biggie). I tried a water drop shot as a replacement tonight, but the balloon unexpectedly exploded (note the darker parts of the carpet). I was trying for a slow drip. So this is it.
By the way, the unexpected explosion looked pretty awesome. Too bad I wasn’t ready with the camera. Now I have to go clean up the water all over the kitchen. Excuse me
Matthew had a little surprise today for his uncle while being burped. Mommy…mommy…another diaper please!
